ArcheryEra Partner Tools · Pilot

Useful Archery Tools. Right on Your Website.

Give your customers free access to practical archery calculators without developing or maintaining them yourself.

First tool in the pilot: the Wood Arrow Spine Calculator, as a compact widget for traditional shops, coaches and archery publishers.

What a shop gets out of it

Free to start

The pilot widget is free to embed. There’s no account to create, nothing to install on your server, and you can take it down by deleting one tag.

Easy website integration

It’s a single iframe tag. If your site builder has an HTML or embed block (WordPress, Shopify, Squarespace and Wix all do), that’s all it needs.

No software maintenance

The math runs on the same shared engine as the full ArcheryEra calculator. When I correct or recalibrate the model, every embedded copy picks it up on its own.

Mobile-friendly experience

On phones the widget stacks into one column with thumb-sized controls. An optional script sizes the frame to fit, so there’s no scroll bar inside your page.

Try the live widget

This is the real widget running in an iframe, exactly as it would on a partner’s page. Change any number and the result comes from the same engine as the full Wood Arrow Spine Calculator.

Demonstration only. Heritage Archery Shop is a fictional store made up for this preview. It is not an ArcheryEra partner.

Workshop › Wood shafts

Which wood shaft spine fits your bow?

Run your numbers below before you order a dozen. Bring the result to the counter and we’ll pull shafts from that spine group.

Partner style: neutral colors with the shop’s own accent (accent=5B4A32), no ArcheryEra logo, and a small “Powered by ArcheryEra” credit at the bottom.

How it works

  1. Choose a calculator.

The pilot starts with the Wood Arrow Spine Calculator. Next on my list: the Arrow Comparison Engine, the Dynamic Spine & Shaft Flex Calculator, the FOC Calculator, the Arrow Kinetic Energy Calculator and the Bare Shaft Tune Assistant.

  2. Receive your embed code.

I send you a snippet set up for your site: standard or partner style, your accent color, and starting values that suit your customers if you want them.

  3. Add it to your website.

Paste the snippet into an HTML or embed block on any page. That’s the whole install, and there’s nothing to update afterward.

The embed code

This is the snippet behind the preview above. It switches with the tabs, so you can copy either style.

  • No cookies, no analytics scripts and no third-party requests inside the widget.
  • The “Powered by ArcheryEra” credit is a small nofollow link. No backlink is required from your site.
  • Without the optional script the widget still works; on narrow phones it scrolls inside its frame.

Where the numbers come from

The widget starts from your marked bow weight and corrects it for draw length (2 lb per inch off 28″), arrow length (5 lb per inch off 28″), point weight (3 lb per 25 gr off 125 gr) and bow style (−3 lb for non-center-shot selfbows). That corrected weight is the bottom of the range; the top adds 8 lb, inside the 5–10 lb stiffer-than-draw-weight guidance in 3Rivers Archery’s published spine charts.

Every term, source and limit is written out on the wood spine methodology page. The result is a starting range, not a final shaft pick: wood varies shaft to shaft, and anything outside roughly 25–75 lb is flagged as directional only.
